Golden Temple also known as Gurudwara Harmandir Sahib is

completed by Guru Ram Dass in 1577. In 1604 Guru Arjan placed the Adi Granth in
the Harmandir Sahib. Every year during Gurpurab and Baisakhi, devotees flock to
the Darbar Sahib to offer their prayers and have a dip in the holy sarovar. It
has one of india’s largest mega kitchens offering free food to anyone who
visits the Darbar Sahib by means of a ritual called as Seva or Service. It’s
said that here at the Darbar Sahib no one goes hungry and daily langar seva
happens providing food and shelter to all the devotees visiting the Darbar
Sahib. Just near the Gurudwara, Jallianwala Bagh is located which has its own
painful historical significance known as the Jallianwala baug Massacre. 20 Kms
from Amritsar is the Wagah Border which is the international border between
india and Pakistan and every evening the flag lowering ceremony is a ritual
which attracts crowds from all round the country to witness the extravagance
which fills your heart with patriotism.


Another city known for its history and serene beauty is the
pink city of India which is Jaipur. Jaipur is located in the north western part
of india and is the capital of the state of Rajasthan. The city boasts of its
